We are based on the Welsh border approximately seven miles from Monmouth, and have been breeding horses for nearly 60 years. We started with Welsh cobs and ponies and now specialise in performance horses based on the Welsh Part-Bred.
The stud was started by Mrs Dorothy Evans and her daughter, Mrs Deidre Powell, in the 1963. They were then joined by Judith Powell, who enjoyed being the Young Ambassador for the Welsh Pony & Cob Society in 2006. She is the main rider for the family stud. Mrs Evans was awarded a honorary life membership of the Welsh Pony and Cob Society in 2007.
